What color makeup for my hair/eyes and skin?
 

Makeup advice has always been my "fortay" and being in love with different shades of makeup on different skin types, I advise over 500 clients a month on what shades to wear.  This week, will be the week of "Shades" that complements the different skin tones, eye color and hair color.  Check in daily to see what compliments your tone. Today is all about light hair and light eyes.........

Question:

What color eyeshadow/eyeliner would look best on me? I'm kinda tan, have blonde hair with light brown lowlights, and light blue-grayish colored eyes..thanks for the help!

Advice:

You have one of the best combination features that would allow you to try a bounty of looks. The best eyeshadow colors would be cool tones such as greens, silvers and blues. Avoid reds and pinks and purples. They're the least likely to compliment your features. Stick to lighter shades of the colors you try to avoid looking overdone. If you do want to try tones such as purple, make sure they have a blue tint to it. You can also simply line the bottom of your eyes with the cool tones that I mentioned above. They're relatively cheap no matter where you purchase them from. Sephora has a great collection. Lining your eyes with black eyeliner also looks excellent with your eye shade. I'd recommend going easy on the lips if you have your eyes done. Stick to pink and clear glosses. You sound gorgeous. Don't be afraid to experiment in front of your mirror when you have some spare time. Wash your make-up off with baby shampoo. It's easiest and your eyes won't tear up.
